Just watched Birth of a Gorgon, fantastic.

Hey thanks! That was a ton of work so I'm pleased to see people enjoying it.

Man playing piano must be a serious panty-dropper huh?

Maybe. I feel like there must be easier ways to get laid than practicing for a zillion hours.

That Birth of a Gorgon video is really interesting! The type of stuff AI is able to generate these days is just remarkable. People seem divided about the dangers involved with machine learning but it's also super intriguing to watch it progress. I hear some artists are afraid they will be replaced by bots someday. But you take a look at what it produces and it all looks a bit weird and surreal. Again other people claim that AI generated imagery will grow up to be a new form of art. I wasn't sure how to interpret that until I stumbled upon your project. It's a work of art, no doubt. That was amazing!

I've also never seen Porco Rosso before, it's been on my to-watch list for much too long! Hearing you play that beautiful tune on the piano really makes me want to go and see it. Thanks for following me around all these years, it means a lot to me.

...And I just realized I wasn't even following you. Let me fix that haha.

That was an interesting read. Keep doing what you do! <3

Hey there! Thanks so much. <3

About the AI and jobs thing. Yes, I think a lot of artists’ jobs will be replaced by automation eventually. At some point that will happen to most jobs in every field (if we continue to make that progress). But we’re still at an early point in that story. In this case it wasn’t like I was in a position to animate this myself or spend a massive budget to pay someone to animate it for me. I’m just grateful to have another tool for storytelling.
