A lot of the music I have written over the past year has been video-gamey. Tracks like Super Hyperactivity 64, Going Home and The Right to Live are intended to be vaguely reminiscent of SNES-era music. These tracks and a handful of others belong to a soundtrack at which I have been chipping away. This soundtrack is intended to accompany a JRPG-style downloadable GameMaker game. The title of the game is "Chaos Weapon" and it is still in gradual development. To follow its progress, visit the creator's blog on 64 Digits.
This past month I finished the soundtrack, which is about two hours long. I have publicly released it at the following address:

The album is pay-what-you-want, and there is no minimum. If you like the music, or if you just want to support me, you can pay as much or as little as it is worth to you. If you want to have the music on your hard drive but you don't want to spend money on it--or you don't have the money to spend--you can download the album free of charge. Either way I appreciate the support.
By the way, I have to extend my appreciation to those users who frequently comment on my music or follow me here on Newgrounds. Working within the context of a community is a lot more fun than working in a vacuum; it is to the credit of the community here that most of the critical feedback I get is encouraging, useful and clearly intended to help me make better music. Even though I didn't make all of the changes that were suggested to me, this album benefited from comments made by thoughtful and seasoned listeners. Thanks.
