So beautiful, love your style and subject matter. The lighting is great, the way the eye is drawn to the sun in the center and the contrast of that area against the objects in the water, it all looks like a memory of a dream (or a book, apparently). Thanks for sharing.
Thanks ! :) It was painted from my mental imagery of i, I'm glad that comes across !
Absolutely beautiful. The colors, lighting, everything is gorgeous here. Only thing is the expression is so calm I feel like it's very hard to believe that weapon has any weight to it. On the other hand that does seem appropriate for the subject matter, a cool detached judgment of a crusader. Anyway, thank you for creating and sharing this, your work always amazes me.
Thanks Ben! I really appreciate the kind words ^^
Ha!
This one made me laugh--the beer belly, the slump, and the way the face tentacles accentuate the pull of gravity are all fabulous here. His gigantic feet are also amusing. Poor swamp monster.
Swamp monster is tired of all the prejudice, he's thinking of suing Hanna-Barbera Inc but maaan... Let's just pour him another one.
Thanks for the great review!
Swamp monster's kid. Great combination of adorable and disturbing.
Love this, super cool looking creature.
Thank you very much!
Disturbing. What a style you have. I would have known this was your work even in another context.
Definitely the sweetest depiction of a Dullahan I've ever seen ;) manages to make even a headless creature adorable.
Thank you, that was one of my intentions with this piece. :)
