[Starkid]

Great. Too short.

I think for a first animation this is absolutely terrific. The starkid himself is rather iconic and beautifully rendered. It ended much too soon for me.

Strange

This strange little movie definitely succeeds, maybe as a direct result of the slow, deliberate pacing, but the thing I most liked were the colors. I loved the way the house is blue inside. I loved the way the ghost stood out so beautifully from the rest, and how her eyes are completely black. The music, too, is completely appropriate... although I cannot help but wish the section of silence simply lasted longer, and that more happened in that stretch of time.

I love the Xiao Xiao series! This is so terrific. Great funny moments and as always many inventive ways of killing a person. The colors really helped to differentiate between the different ninjas.
