Hi, Newgrounders! It has been a while. Here are some of the things I've been up to:

• Writing and sequencing music, including stuff for the audio portal (Struggle Mountain and Moonbound) and original cues for Guinea Something Good
• Rendering computer-generated art, including Strata, Magma, and the one below (made for this news post)
• Teaching piano lessons

A brief shout-out to Stephanie Gauthier (@Suncomes): She used one of my tracks really well in a short stop motion animation.

And a note on PAX-East: This was my first year attending the expo, and I had a blast. It was great to meet @TomFulp and @Stamper, and inspiring to see the creativity happening in the indie area.

This past week, balbod released The Fall of Sonic, an animation that effectively uses one of my old audio submissions (8-Bit Epic).

I recently collaborated with composer Chris Carlone on music for two short films by 3GI Industries. Both films use fast-paced editing and scattershot, wacky humor. The first, Jurassic Swamp, combines elements of the Jurassic Park and Shrek movies. The second, Irrational Treasure, takes its inspiration from the National Treasure movies.

Hi Newgrounders,

Here are some of the things I have been up to since the last news post:

• Submitting video game loops to the Audio Portal. In chronological order: Pixelilly Rag, Grotto, Savage Radish, Netherworld, Shrine, Alchemical Antagonist, Netherworld 2, Robo-ballet 2, and Vertigo. These are true video game loops in the "old school" sense. They do not sound cinematic. The instruments and samples are deliberately unrealistic. These loops come from a video game music album written some time ago.
• Submitting new images to the Art Portal: 2014-05-08_8 and Into the Gold. These are abstract works.
• Adding to a playlist of my 2014 audio submissions.
