Hey welcome back!
Hey welcome back!
Hey this is awesome! Congratulations on the new release. And the music video is adorable as well.
Hey! A friend sent me this track and I enjoyed it; here's what I wrote back about the music and its appeal.
"It's interesting how on the second listen the abrasive qualities become less surprising and you can hear all the other little details. The call and responses between the parts, cool rhythms/time signature changes which are repeated just enough. Some beautiful jazz chord progressions here too. I took a few minutes to figure out some of them; 0:24-0:35 it's Fm9, Dbmaj7, Am#11. 2:29 it's Bbmaj7, Gm9, Abmin-maj7. Super pretty and unique."
In the end the things I'm calling "abrasive" here (meaning a number of unusual dissonances and sounds) aren't really abrasive at all. It grows on you and eventually it all just sounds cool. Great work.
Always good to hear your work, Waterflame! Thank you for sharing your music with the world.
Very cute!
The bass line!!!!
Man you're good! I really admire your work and style. Great way to save a flute.
I'd love to see the sheet music for this.
Thank you! That means a lot!
I'm sorry to say that I don't have the music written down. But if it's a part in particular you would like to see I can write it down for you.
I don't think I will do a sheet video for this one though.
Lovely!
Gorgeous! I'm a fan of your style and approach generally, and this is a lovely little orchestral track. I aspire to this. Thanks for sharing!
My personal favorite from this past pixel day...I've listened to this one probably twenty times now. Thanks for your art!
